Scheduling, Admission, Treatment and Discharge Process and Criteria

Collaborative relationships between the physician’s office and the Center staff are instrumental in providing patient information during the scheduling, admission, treatment and discharge processes. Communication is achieved through phone calls, written communication, electronic communications and on- and off-site meetings. Only licensed physicians and affiliated healthcare professionals who have undergone a rigorous credentialing process can are permitted to schedule their patients at the Surgery Center. All physicians scheduling their patients at the Kendall Pointe Surgery Center are active members of the Medical Staff for whom the privilege to perform the scheduled procedure(s) has been approved by the Medical Executive Committee and the Board of Managers.
